What about matte Space Gray?
If I put that in, everyone would vote for it
What I'm trying to see is how much other factors influence people spending the extra £180 for the SS.
I personally prefer the look of the aluminium but because it's cheaper, it feels less desirable.

yea, add matte space gray, a lot of people love that!
IMHO Space Black SS w/ link bracelet looks the best, but also more than I'm willing to spend. Therefore, Space Gray with black rubber band will suffice.

Given that watches are considered jewelry, polished chrome with black-capped crown edges out matte aluminum with plain crown.
I like stainless steel, but I think the Apple Watch's large open rounded edges have a lot of potential to really show fingerprints.

It's not just that - the SS watch also has a sapphire screen, a better looking (in my opinion) crown, and I think the extra weight will make the watch feel more solid and better.
I would also like to see if this SS is any better than the SS in my $39 watch that I've worn for the last 10 years.
Agreed. The Space Black SS with matching link band is pretty awesome, but way too pricey for me.
I like both, but since I want to get a modern buckle and milenese loop(the two "girly" bands, even though I'm a boy), SS is basically mandatory unfortunately. Saving $250 Canadian would've been nice
