Does anyone have any personal experience with Logic, and/or Propellerhead Reason/Record on the 13" Macbook Pro? I'm thinking about getting one (13" macbook pro) and just wanted some feedback on how smoothly, or choppy, those programs run on it. Thanks!

Baseline Macbook Pro 13" and recording music?

It will be fine. If you get into really large sessions with virtual instruments on Logic, you may strain the system, but it has to get pretty crazy to do that.
Get a separate FireWire drive to use as a session drive and you will see significant improvements if you are recording or playing back a decent number of audio tracks.
