Little bit broad don't you think? Totally depends what you start with and your goals in terms of usage.
well.. ultimate as in the best stuff money can buy. its fun

I think most people would upgrade their ram as it becomes cheaper, and their HDs as they fill up. How much and how fast will depend on what your needs are. A video editor will need to upgrade to multiple 1TB drives quicker than say a graphic designer. It just depends.
