I just want to be able to modify Notes on BOTH my iPhone and my Macbook Pro.

I don't see a "Notes" application on the Mac, so I assume the "Notes" category of Mail is all that's used. I once typed in my notes and the email contents did appear on my iPhone for awhile, but then disappeared.

I had a Palm Pre and used Missing Sync to wirelessly sync it, but don't see a way to do that with the iPhone. Will I have to buy Missing Sync for iPhone again to get this functionality back?

Is there some easier way of simply keeping copies of a particularl text file synced and editable on my iPhone and my Macbook Pro?

Thanks!!
Mark

Check your settings to make sure everything is set to sync. It works fine for me between iPhone, iPad & 2 MacBooks.

I also use Evernote which is excellent and has better organization. Holds a lot more than just text notes.

Evernote - works on all platforms.

Another option is to use Simplenote on the iPhone and sync it with Notational Velocity on your Mac.
