Basic question about purchasing iPhone 5S in-store.

If I go into the store to pick up a 5S on Friday, will they allow me to buy a second one for my wife? Has this been allowed (more than one purchase) in the past? Anything I need to know about potential issues (from those that have done this before)?

2 should be no problem. Are you buying them or having them on contract? If so you will need your wife's details etc.
