iPod touch Basic Video/Movies sync question

Hi all,

New to iPodTouch ( new to iPods full stop ) - I have a few clips that I'd like to sync to my iPT. They have been taken on various phones, and are in .avi, and .mov formats. I've loaded them into iTunes noo problem, and they play fine.

In the sync window they show up fine, but when syncing I get the message:

" 'Name of clip' was not copied to your iPod because it can not be played on this iPod "

Also, can you use .WMV files?

I got exactly the same problem..
Music is easy as hell, but a video i shot ? I made mp4's and m4v's but the stuff wont sync to my iptouch .

Got the answer yesterday - place you clips in iTunes ( if you try to sync them now you'll be told the iPod cant play them so they weren't sync'd ) - in iTunes, highlight the clips you want to sync, then go to 'Advanced', and then 'Convert Selection for iPod'. They'll now copy over.
