Where I live
Hello everyone,

Is there a Audio Unit that I can use to lower my recorded guitar track by an octave or two so that it sounds (or close to) a bass?

I don't want to have to buy a bass mostly for clutter reasons, but also budget does not permit it at the moment.

Thanks!

GarageBand has the option to lower the pitch of a track. It'll sound poor as you'll double the attack of the guitar, string noise will be at a lower pitch etc

What software are you using?

Before I bought my bass I used to use the AUpitch tool on garageband, but I think that is only added when you buy Final Cut Pro (you get access to all the audio tools on other apps)
