Batch / Bulk file Rename

I am searching for a utility to mass rename files, mainly JPG and AVI files.

it must be able to rename file with date / time information from EXIF data.

I got PhotoInfo and works fine for JPG. However, with AVI files (THM extension from Canon), it only renames THM files, and not the AVI.


Is there any other software that you can recommend?

I use renamer, but I don't think it can use the exif data. Maybe worth a look tho.

I am keeping PhotoInfo as it allows me to adjust the Exif date and time.

Forklift is a filemanager/ ftp client/ uninstaller all in one multi utility that even has a batch file renamer.
however, I don't know if the rename feature can utilize exif data.
