Hi

I've spent the best part of today searching and testing free apps that will convert comic books files (.cbz and .cbr) into .pdf so that I can import them into ibooks.
I don't really want to use another 'comic book' reader as I pre fair all my magazines/comics in one place. i.e. iBooks.

Can someone please recommend a program as I'm struggling.

Thanks in advance

OK I've bit the bullet and purchased comic2epub app from the app store - hope it's not a waste of £2.49

OK so my £2.49 app sucked. Didn't Batch Convert, The file conversion quality was poor and it couldn't handle all the file types.
However - I've found a free program which looks like just what I needed. Fingers Crossed.

I was actually looking for this a few weeks ago, I ended up just using a free Comic book reader.

Care to share the name of the free one you found?

edit: I think PDFs will still open in Preview even if you add them to iBooks
