I have a couple hundred Word and Text documents that I need to convert to PDF . . There seem to be a lot of apps that go the other way, but nothing that will do what I need. Can't possibly open each doc and save as PDF one at a time.... I downloaded what was supposed to be an automator flow for this purpose, but it doesn't work. Any ideas on how to do this appreciated.

Automator is part of your system. It includes an action to convert Word documents to PDF.

Still can't find Word to PDF

Actually, unless I'm really missing something, it does NOT contain that action. There are other actions re PDF files, but not this one. I also checked an older version of Automator on a computer running 10.4.11, it's not there either.

You aren't missing anything. Unless you have Office installed you won't have a 'documents' action list in Automator.
