I have a lot (over 500 .f4v) video files which I want to convert to .m4v.

I know I can just rename the files directly by changing their extension (tries this and it works); however, the size does not change. In my experience, .f4v is bigger, generally, than a .m4v.

I tried handbrake (which reduces the size by over 60-70%) but is slow since it does only one file at a time and loading one at a time is a pain.

Any free alternative that can batch process these files and convert them .m4v? Thanks.
