I'm slowly converting all my TV episodes to mp4 with VisualHub, and I have a pretty good workflow going on. The only thing that I have to do manually, which bugs me, is renaming my files. I tag them all properly with a couple of AppleScripts, but the "name" field remains the same as the file name, which is always in the format "101 - Ep Name," "102 - Ep Name," etc. Is there a way to remove the first six characters of a whole bunch of selected files, so I don't have to go through them all individually? I tried looking in Automator, but couldn't find anything to edit the ID3 tags, and AppleScript boggles me. Perhaps a third party app does the trick?
