Is there some quick and easy utility that will do a batch resize of a quantity of photos? Sorry if this is a newbie question, I am new at this.

For example, I take 30 photos, I want to keep the original 12 MP RAW files, but I also want a separate copy saved as 800x600 JPG to upload to web sites.

Right now, I have to open each one in Photoshop, scale the image, and save it out as a different file name. This is a lot of mouse clicks and takes a lot of time.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Go into PhotoShop Help and search on "batch resize". Once you create an Action for the final sizes you want, it becomes a drag and drop process.

I use Aperture 3 for this. I can select as many files as I want and export them in a chosen size and resolution.
