Batch video converter for Ifamily

Hello all,

I am about to buy an ipad and I would like to convert a few movies I got for ipad format. I know there are many converters around, but I have not found one that suits my needs.

The requirements I have are:

-Mac OS (snow leopard). Got no other computer
-Should be able to handle many formats (rmvb, avi, flv,...)
-More interestingly, should be able to work in batch. That is, I want to be able to tell him: convert me everything in the "To Convert" folder. Press a button and forget.

What can you recommend me?

batch download/convert

batch downloading and batch conversion at the same time. LOL...
i think it really is the powerful, besides, if it has edit function, then perfect
and it can free download video from dozens of sites: youtube, google, yahoo, dailymotinm, metacafe etc.
whatever...those social video sharing sites
