I purchased Batman Arkham City GOTY on steam, really cheap could not resist, it plays OK, but on game exit back to steam all seems OK then steam crashes to the Apple report screen.

Contact support, some people get a crash due to a crash log corrupting the boot sequence of the game. Our support team have a full workaround for you.

I make you right on that 100% I got sucked in because of the sale price, I must stop myself doing this as steam has caused me so much aggravation with this sort of thing, proving itself not to be the best medium to play games via.

I know I said the game runs OK, what I mean by that is that it is playable, but it is is not nice watching bands of graphics playing catchup as you look around the game world, may have to invest in a hard copy from Feral and forget game sales over steam, best to pay more for a hard copy and get something that works to its best I feel.

I really do not think publishers etc do themselves any favours selling via steam other than to make cash of coarse, it sure reflects badly on their product/products.

I got it from Feral directly from their website, it was on a special sale, keep at eye on their website for good deals at times ;)

Only to you because you are the only person I have ever seen to have the kinds of problems with Steam that you constantly post about. This leads me to believe that there is something else going on here.

Sorry if my posting of my steam issues bothers you because insane79 states above that he gets similar issues with other games. I think others are getting these issues but just accept it as part of computing/gaming life these days, in other words it has become the norm.

nope me too, are you talking about steam on OSX or Windoze? max payne3 use to ALWAYS do that, had issue rarely with deux HR specially with the new dumass steam client upgrade, some members can't play Metro Last night cause of the new steam client but people who got the game from App store can play it, do i need to say more about the issues the steam client has? i use the steam only for super deals & cheap games cause i know it might not launch a game i have after its notorious updates :D
