I've bought a third party battery but its marked as Apple Japan

Usually I got Apple South Asia provider inside iPhone, others I discover Apple Japan but now I doubt if its real Apple Battery or just a letter put on a third party provider

Apple Japan batteries that I have proved usually have good performance

Haven't replaced mine yet, but when I do, I'd research it in iFixit.com and see what they recommend.

All iPhone batteries are marked "Apple Japan" along with the "PSE" mark.

It's similar to the European CE or Korean KC mark. It just means the battery has been registered by the Japanese division of Apple (Apple Japan) for sale in Japan.

All iPhone batteries are made in China. iPhone X batteries are made exclusively by Sunwoda.
