Ok, so there are many of us who've been cycling our batteries and getting improved battery life by doing this, and there are some of you who disagree with us and say we don't need to do this. I spoke to a guy named Lando in the PDA/Smartphone tech support because I was having issues with my earpiece and brought up my initial battery issues also. He said we SHOULD be letting our battery die out, then stick it on the charger, LEAVE it off while charging, and DON'T take it off the charger or turn it on for TWO hours after the charge is complete. I've pretty much been doing the extra time thing, since I let it die before bed, charge it while off, and don't take it off the charger & turn it on until I'm leaving my house for work in the morning. I've gotten a much better battery life by doing this the last 5.5 days anyways, but I wanted to pass on the suggestion, as a TMo tech support agent officially told me. Now, another suggestion he gave to also help with the battery drainage -- if you don't need to be using 3G, turn your phone to 2G/Edge. Leave it on this until you need to be using 3G for heavy browser use or youtube.
