Battery bank doesn’t charge 12 pro >85%

I have a 3rd party power bank which I’ve used over the past 2 years but it does not work if 12 pro is >85% charged. If battery drops to 84% then it will charge to 85% and stop (irrespective of “ optimize battery charging” of on/off) It works fine on other iPhones, iPads, and AirPods.

Wired charging works fine and allows charging to 100%.

Anyone else notice this?

I have had the same experience with my 12Pro. It does not even show the lightning bolt for it charging at the top of the phone

Apple preserving battery life since it’s smaller than the 11 pro? Mine will kick on and off when it goes from 84% to 85%.
