I just noticed an interesting tidbit. Battery calibration is noted in many places on the Apple site.
10.5 MB/MBP
Generic Battery Calibration page, updated 27/may/2008
10.4 MB/MBP
The specific calibration notes say to run the battery down and then wait 5 hours before charging. The generic battery calibration note(the most recently updated), says that you can charge the battery right after the computer automatically shuts itself down....
Which is the right one? Has something changed from before?
There is also a grammar issue where it states "Turn off the computer or allow it to sleep for five hours or longer." This sentence gives you a choice between turning it off (for 5 hours) and sleeping for 5 hours. If you put commas in, "Turn off the computer, or allow it to sleep, for five hours or longer." it would be a choice between turning it off(and moving to the next step), or sleeping it for 5 hours.....
I believe that they mean that in either case you wait 5 hours. However, this doesn't clear up the conflict between the different pages....
Any ideas?
