I am SO confused about this after watching keynote, reading forums, etc.

The new MacBook Pros have a NEW type of battery, right? The 13" and 15" now have the same new cool, long-lasting battery as the 17".

I heard somewhere that this new type of battery doesn't need calibration, that it auto-calibrates or something.

True or false?

I have a 13" MBP Pro.

When I got it I charged it fully, then started working unplugged. iStat had my battery health at 99%, then at 97% later in the day. After fully running down the battery and letting it rest, then fully recharging, I am at 100%. I imagine for the sake of keeping the meter accurate, the occasional calibration is still necessary.
