Hi All,

I've got the latest 15'' 2.8Ghz mbp
I'm just wondering is it normal for others regarding my
battery showing 99% after a week of using it(new)

i know about the cycle thing.
usually let it drop to 90% or so then charge it back up.

done calibrate few times already.

the current full capacity shown on coconut battery is 6435
it used to be 6554 the first time I got this computer.
after 2 weeks it drop to 6444.

seems like it's dropping little by little
and overtime I used the battery(unplug)
the full capacity of the battery will drop alittle.

is this normal?

How many charge cycles are on the battery? And calibration should only be done about once a month, usually you'll want to plug in your battery at around 20-30%.

6 cycle now
calibrate once a month.

so it's common to have the full capacity changing all the time?

Yes, your battery health and capacity will change from time to time. It's quite normal and nothing to worry about, unless it drops significantly.

99% is fine after 6 cycles. And yes, you're fine using it to 20-30% and then charging it. Although what you don't want to do is use it to 0% excessively and calibrate it too often.
