So there is a problem with my computer. The internet is sooo slow compared to others at Starbucks. It works fine at my college campus and at home (it may be slower thans others, I am not sure, but I can still use it so I dont notice it).
However, sometimes the fans get loud. Which happened when microsfot word crashed today in the middle of me taking notes in class. That is literally all that I was doing on my Mac Book Pro. I looked at the activity report and it said Microsfot Word was not responding and using 100.2% of the CPU. This concerns me because I have to take finals soon and if it crashes in the middle of an exam that would be awful .
But the weird thing is when the crash happned and I force quit it and the pop up comes up asking if you want to submit it, I clicked the question mark which is supposed to take you to either apple or microsofts help viewer. Well it says there is not entery for the problem that I was having. In the Sysmtem log I found "HelpViewer: No result found for anchor mh27988 in book com.apple.machelp". So i guess that means its apple help informaiton. But any anywas I googled mh27988 and found out it was the battery. Did my battery cause the microsoft word to crash??? It wasnt low or anyting. It was on atleast 60% and it was plugged in.
One other thing I noticed is Ive seen messages, for atleast a few weeks now, about how my internal keyboard and trackpad are issuing remote wake ups. Is this related.
When I took my mac in last the replaced the keyboard and the trackpad. The first guy said that there may be water damage when he looked inside it which (i knew for 100% certainity it was NOT water damaged. I take such good care of this thing. Its like my baby). But when they sent it to the repair shop they said it wasnt water damaged and they made those repairs for free (I still have apple care).
My theory is that the battery may have leaked and caused the problems with the trackpad before and now its causing them again. Idk. Im just guess. Any know whats going on???? Id appreciate the help?
I have the mircorsoft crash report saved if that will help anyone.
O and two other things. The reason I brought it into apple the 1st time was bc of an erratic track pad. Itd go crazy. Wouldnt respond properly to touch. And the second thing is one time I left the white box part of the charger on top of my closed mac book while it was charging at night and when I woke up there were some burn marks by where the white thing had been resting. Idk y its was werid. But that happened a couple months ago and nothing like that happened since (granted I never left it on top of the mac book ever again)..
Thanks for your help. I really really really really appreciate it.
