Battery Chargers and Mac powerbook pro

I have the latest MPBP with the gray mag-charger port. and one with the white (older model) are the chargers inter changeable?

Yes. Just be aware that a weaker adapter than the one that comes with your model will require longer to charge.

A Powerbook pro?! Sounds fancy!

Also, if you're using a weaker one, I hear that if you're really taxing the system and it needs to draw more power than the adapter can provide, that your battery can actually run dead while on the charger. I've never had this happen to verify though.
