Battery charges to 98%

I have an iPhone 3GS and after upgrading to iOS4 my battery only charges up to 98%. It says 100% charged while in the dock but as soon as I remove the phone it gives a 98% reading.

Any ideas?

Mine did that when I was on 4.0, only it was 99%. I would leave it charge overnight, then it would still be only 99%. I just turned off battery percentage.

Well, I'm just worried if this a sign that the battery is dying out. I plan on selling this phone in the upcoming weeks and don't want to sell someone a dead battery.
