I just bought my iPad 3 (the new iPad) yesterday and when it's charging it doesn't show me the charging green battery charging indicator on lock screen. It's charging for the first time right now, I updated to ios6 few hours after opening the box.

Since this is my first iPad I have no idea where the charging indicator is on the lock screen. I'm not talking about the % percentage indicator, but the green animated battery that is on most of Apples devices.

Please can anyone help me to get the green battery indicator to show on the lock screen while the ipad is charging.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

This is my first post here, I'm new to this forum.

The iPad does not have this feature I believe. Instead, the battery indicator on the top right shows a percentage value as the battery charges to 100%.
