A while back my roommate's dog chewed up 2 different magsafe cords. Now when I plug in my macbook I get the "not charging" so i bought an off brand battery and now it will switch back and forth between "calculating" and "not charging" there's no lights on the battery when i push the button. I've updated and reset the smc and battery. The computer recognizes the battery and coconut battery can even read its info. So would this mean it is my greatest fear and maybe the logic board got damaged? Or could it just be the new cheap battery because $130 is alot to pay for an actual battery for apple if im going to get the same situation.
