Hi everyone this is my first post here on macrumors but i have read posts on this site before and i just want to say awesome. maybe you guys can help me out.

So i bought a macbook pro a1211 15 inch I believe this is the 2006 model 2.33ghz.

But I noticed that the battery wasnt charging but it would start up fine with the magsafe adapter in. I tried the battery in another macbook pro and it works perfect. So i took apart the macbook pro. And noticed that the battery connector seating that sits on the logic board is not soldered on anymore. I can see the points at which it was once soldered on and where it should be sitting. And i want to attemp to resolder it as I see about 2-3 solder points on the on the top of the seating, and 2 solder points beneath the seating that was removed off the logic board.

I guess my question is does anyone have any experience doing this that might be able to offer me some advice before i attempt to resolder the seating back onto the logic board.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks.
