Battery Cycle counts

Yesterday I bought a haswell rmbp and i just noticed it says cycle count:3 under battery information. i only charged it once over night.
anyone got any explanations?

Yea, they tested your battery the first time to make sure it worked with your laptop. Then they tested it again as part of quality assurance.

People need to stop looking at that as it could deter them from using their machines.

u r probably right. i doubt anyone used this machine before.
