battery depletion when shutdown

I shutdown my MBA 2013 about 4 days ago with 50% battery life, I didn't touch it until today. When I started it today it was at 39%. Very odd. I could understand if it was in sleep mode but it wasn't. Has anyone else noticed this?

I never shut down my Mac so really can't confirm, but I do know all chemical batteries discharge even if they are not hook up to anything. They call it battery leakage I believe. How much leakage rate for the Air? Dunno.

Yeah... but 11% in 4 days on a new laptop isn't normal. I'll run more tests to confirm the issue.
