I was restoring my data to my iPad (had a new one) from my Mac book pro. I had it sitting on my desk, updating. Sometime during the day it was unplugged and the battery died while I was at a meeting.

When I got home and plugged it back in, I noticed some problems. The date is wrong, saying dec 31, 2000, however the time is right.

My Internet is also having issues. When any browser is opened, it goes to a screen that asks for a Cisco guest access password. I don't know that I have any Cisco software, and as I am the only user, I have never set up any guest passwords for anything. However, my wifi only iPad is able to connect with the Internet without issues.

After some googling I tried resetting the PRAM battery, but I have not noticed any difference.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to help? I would be very appreciative!
