iPod touch Battery died loss of data

Hey all just wondered if this problem has ever happened to anyone else

the battery on my ipod touch died today so i charged it up but when i turned it back on to play need for speed shift all the game data was gone. Is there anyway to retrive the lost data???

Its a jailbroken 2g touch on 3.0

You DO know the storage is non-volatile solid storage?

Losing the power will not lose "all" game data. At worst you'll be at the last check point.
