Hi Guys,

I have a Verizon iPhone 4 jailbroke on 4.2.8 via pwnage tool. I wanted to let the battery die to fully charge back up to calibrate the battery (I know this may not do anything). When the phone came back on after I plugged in the charger my carrier logo was gone and I have no 3G service. Any thoughts or help on this would be appreciated. I know I may be in for a restore and rejailbreak, but wanted to see if this happened to anyone else.

Thanks

Edit: Wanted to add, I tried syncing with iTunes because maybe a carrier update would fix it, but iTunes came back with "Error itunes couldn't search for carrier update for unknow reason (error 1631).

Oh, sry...didn't know. My 3G has a SIM card and when I have lost connection to my carrier this worked for me.

EDIT: Hey doofus...it most certainly does have a SIM card:

I did that prior to my successful jailbreak. I was working fine for a week and then the battery dies and I lose 3G coverage, weird. Hopefully if I restore to a backup prior to jailbreak then rejailbreak it will be the same. I don't want to wipe out all my data again.
