Anyone else finding the battery on the 14 pro disappointing? I took it off the charger at 100% last night at 10.55pm and it’s now down to 65%.

When I got my last phone brand new (XR) charges lasted a day and a half, maybe even two. The current projectors is looking at less than one for a brand new iPhone 14 pro

Maybe it was still downloading things like your photo library etc over wi-fi overnight & you had other apps doing their thing? See how it goes tonight.

Maybe… it’s now down to 50%. 15% in the space of an hour and a half is really not good for a phone that claims to be capable of 21 hours of video playing. All I’ve been doing is a phone call and internet browsing.

Thank you! I will try to worry less and wait to see what performance is like later in the week.

Is iOS 16.0 a drain on older devices?

Maybe could need some software optimizations with regards to efficiency

Mine seems pretty good so far but I’m on pro max and coming from a 12 pro on 15.1 so not really a fair comparison

I’m not too sure! I’m currently using the IPhone 14 Pro with IOS 16.0.1 installed.

Took my 14PM off the charger at 3 am and have used it on and off for about 30-45 minutes and still at 100%.

My 14PM seems to be about like my 13PM to me, so far.

I'm running the latest beta for iOS 16, think thats causing battery drain issues on my 14 pro.
As I haven't hardly used the phone in last few hours and battery just dropped by 15%.

This has happened every time I have gotten a new phone. Depending on apps, music, etc. I usually see a quick drop in the battery over the first couple days. After that the battery in my last few phones had been outstanding.
