Battery discrepancy

So I had just charged up my watch to 90% earlier and looked down at the screen about an hour later and saw it was showing “70”. I clicked on the indicator and it pulls up the full screen with battery info, which says 81%. Why would the little sub display be off? Anyone else experienced this?

I guess it just got stuck. Stayed at 70 as the battery continued to run down. I changed watch faces and the indicator was correct on those. Then I changed back to the original face and it was finally correct.
