So as the title says my battery has become worse and worse over the last few months. I bought the macbook in August of '06. My battery seems to not last as long and also when it gets down to about 20% or 25% it just shuts off. no warning or anything. I have attempted to recalibrate my battery numerous times but it doesnt seem to help. I am attaching my coconut results. Take a look. What would you guys do in my situation?

Sounds and looks like it might be a defective battery. If you've got Apple Care you should be fine to get a replacement. If not, you might have a little begging to do in your future.

I had the same exact problem last week, I called up Apple and explained it to them. They shipped me out a new battery the next day and that was that. Good luck :)

Coconut battery is misreading or you haven't used the battery at all as it says '4' load cycles. Have a look under 'power' in system profiler and see what the true readings are.

Yea I noticed that too. Take a look and let me know what you think.
