Has anyone experienced/noticed this? I have MBA 13" 2012, with all Mavericks and MS Office 2011 updated. For only 2 hours, battery fall down from 100% to 60%. I didn't do something cpu consumption. I remember, in ML 10.8.5, even after 4 hours the battery is still above 50%.

Thanks.

I didn't while I was on Mavericks. MS Silverlight was the big battery killer for me.

Activity Monitor can be a big help in diagnosing things like this. Make sure you're your viewing "all processes" and not just "my processes".

Energy and %CPU can help you track down what's going on.

Hi, thanks for your info.
I have checked the cpu, no other cpu process consumed. Also, this is only happened to Outlook. Word and Powerpoint are all fine.
In the beginning I am not pretty sure, but after few times, it shows Outlook did eat the battery.
Also, in outlook I found the scrolling is a little bit choppy, but not in Word/ppt.
