Been noticing this since I first got my air 2 and iOS 8. On the latest software and my usage is NEVER accurate unless I switch to airplane mode before putting the device to sleep. Here's my stats on a charge over the past week. Set up using a restore from iPad 3, could that be the issue?

iPad Battery draining and usage time going up on standby

Try a clean install for a day or two to see if its your iTunes/iCloud backup misconfiguration or if its a hardware defect in the battery. If you clean install iOS to and you don't have any of these issues then you can figure it out . . .
