I have an SE and I updated to iOS 13.3 I think about a month ago, and within the last week or two (could have happened before and I just didn’t notice) almost every time I’m in Safari, my battery percentage plummets before my eyes. I timed it at a steady 1% every 7 seconds (at that rate it will go from 100% to 0% in 11 minutes). It continuously drops at that rate until I exit Safari. I don’t know if it’s tied to the specific sites I visit (eg. Macrumors), because sometimes it stops when I visit a different site, then starts again when I go back to the problem site. But then other times, the problem site behaves normally (though that seems to be rare).

It does seem to be just Safari though. I’ve observed other apps, including Chrome (visiting the same sites), and they‘re all normal as far as I can tell.

Anybody else have this issue? Is it known and is there a fix? Thanks.

Just dropped 20% in a couple minutes of browsing Macrumors. :(
