It was pointed out to me that the Snoopy watch face eats up the battery of the Apple Watch. With this in mind being a newcomer to the Apple watch I would like to know what watch apps are big battery munchers. The Ultra 2 has a 564 mAh battery. The series 9, 41mm model has a 282 mAh battery and the 45mm model has a 308 mAh battery. The Apple Watch can use all of the help it can get.

We don't really know. This used to be itemized in an older version of WatchOS but that feature has since been removed.

But anything that does "work" will use more power. Communications over cellular has to be a big draw too.

Check the background refresh setting for each app and determine if you need that on or not.
if you do NOT get the advertised 36hrs of battery life - come back here and we may be able to help.

I removed all of the app's that did things all of the time like an ambient noise sensor.

I am very pleased with the battery life as it is. I recharge in the morning and in 24 hours it is still at about 60%. I forgot to charge it this morning and at 12 noon when I remembered it was at 51%.

If you haven’t done so yet, I suggest to get AC+, I always do for my AWs. AC+ will get you a free battery replacement if the health drops below 80%, so I really ignore all the battery related threads/concerns/opinions that you find here on MR. Plus as I do not baby my AW at all, things can happen… piece of mind worth it to me.

I doubt the battery ever goes below 80% within 2 years. if anything, if you are really unlucky, the battery may swell up and pop the screen out. I have aplecare+ but when I had it on my watch 3 and my sapphire glass scratched, apple was reluctant to send it in as a warranty repair and didnt do it so im not sure what exactly AppleCare covers on the watch other than a swollen battery but this is very rare.

certainly looks like it, my Ultra was at 99% after 1 year, but, depends on how long you keep your watch as you can have AC+ beyond 2 years.
if you charge the ultra 2x less often due to the 2 day battery life, it may hit 80% after 7 years

I still have two watch 3s that are at 85%. either apple programs these things to delay showing 79% or these batteries are quite good. I noticed even the phones will drain to 84% and then stay there for at least a year. kinda suspicious.
