Do battery extender apps such as Battery Pro boost magic work? Or are all these type of apps a rip off?

Basically when you charge it takes you through a 3 step cycle charge which is suppose to improve your battery life and use. Anyone know if it actually works?

Complete rip off.
Personally I think they should all be removed from the app store.
Along with the fart apps.

Additional apps running in background will only reduce your battery life. I dont believe an app will have access to control battery of an iPhone.

It all depends on XCodes APIs (Things developers can do to the iPhone through an app) and until now I haven't seen the first API which allows you to control the battery life.

In my opinion every app decreases the battery life.
