You know things are bad when your iphone hates you.
Over the past few weeks the battery life on my 3g 16gig iphone has been less than optimal, so I've been thinking about taking it in to the Apple Store for a battery replacement. I was putting it off, until it got worse, because quite frankly, I didn't really have the money to spend right now.
Earlier this week I noticed a few dead pixels but didn't think anything of it.
This morning I pulled the phone out of my pocket and there's a crack on the screen. I didn't drop it, bang it, sit on it, or do anything out of the ordinary, but it's cracked nonetheless.
It's cracked, and I guess I'm $crewed.
I'm assuming that the cracked screen nixes the battery replacement deal?
Any idea how much a replacement 3G 16gig would be?
It seems like a third party replacement of the screen, battery and maybe the outer shell would be almost as expensive.
Any other alternatives I'm not thinking of?
