I had pretty weak battery my first week with the phone, drained very fast each day and could not make it through the day. Not sure who had the suggestion of.....

Draining it until it shuts itself down

The plug it in and do not turn it back on

Charge it well past 100%, like 4-5 hours untouched

Then turn it back on

But mine is now awesome! Currently on 1 day, 1 hour stand by and 5 hours usage....with 23% remaining! I have not had it on charge since 7 pm last night! Now better than my 4 was! Very happy, so thanks again for the suggestion!

Hmm. What the h***, I might as well give it a shot. Can't hurt.

Thanks for idea.

I had tried that a couple of times, and the only thing that worked for me was getting a replacement. I mean, I tried it all. Restoring, doing a battery calibration, restoring as new, adjusting all the location services to off, turning off Siri. I guess I just had a bad phone. The first time I've had an issue with an iPhone big enough to get a replacement. I'm a happy camper now.
