It has been reported by many that their batteries appear to be draining much more quickly on their devices since iOS4.3 came out. I also found the thread talking about a potential fix from MacRumor member SomeDudeAsking. It appears to have helped mine. If you didn't see it, his recommendations were as follows
1. Goto Settings => General => Restrictions => Activate Restrictions
Once you activate restrictions you'll see a list of allowable icons. Turn off Ping. Apple integrated Ping deep into iOS 4.3 and is turned on by default. It uses push notifications so it is always running and using data even if you don't use Ping.
2. There was a suggestion that in General => Reset => Reset Network Settings would help.
