How do you extend battery life on the Iphone 3GS

Turn off Data, Turn off 3G, stop mail from push or fetch, dim the brightness, lower the sound volume, etc....

If your battery doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long it may be time for a replacement:

The biggest help will be setting the display timer as short as possible.
