So guys I realized I was running out of battery on my iphone today (at around 7%) so I was like "Hey! lets plug it in!". All was well. It was charging, then I played a game (angry birds) and it went into the flashing red battery mode. Is this normal? how can my phone drain faster than it charges?

Here are my settings:
Wi-Fi: on
BT: off
3G: on

probably 5-6 apps running in background.

Yes, haha Angry birds is irresistible. After I plugged it in... it charged until it was able to boot out of the flashing battery symbol. And then it stopped. Wtf.

Everything you describe is normal. When the battery gets that low it's not as accurate, so it could've been very close to dying. Next time let the battery charge somewhat before starting a game.
