So my battery health is now at 82% after 188 cycles. I'm wondering if this is normal or I should get it checked out. I have run the battery calibration and it has not done anything to improve my battery times.

Your quite wrong on that. I called apple told them about it and they said its completely off and they are sending me a new battery free of charge.

No they won't change it and it's normal.

old battery:

I took mine back just last week, and guess what?
They changed it, then said "if it does it again... bring it back" :D

I'm at 91% with 237 cycles. Although I think that's wrong since just a day or two I was at 100%. iStat does that sometimes for whatever reason.

So what exactly is considered "not normal"?

id say something around 70% health when <100 cycles.

apple says the batteries start to die about after 500.. i spose thats somethiing under 50% original health.. although.. apple does say that if properly maintained battery health can be at 80% after 300.

your doing pretty will there, you discharge all the time?

I did some searchs in the forums and there were people with powerbooks at 95% with over 400 cycles. My battery IS at fault. I went from having 4 hours of battery life to just under 2 in 1 day. Before i recalibrated it it was actually only 40 mins of battery life. Tell me that something isnt wrong.

26% health at 631 cycles :(

i asked a while back and they said it didn't meet the criteria for replaceable.. sucks cause this thing lasts no time on battery anymore

I called Applecare a couple of months ago and told them about my battery cycle life and the guy just sent me a brand new one, no questions asked. Try calling them. Im at 91% with 141 cycles.
