I never new about calibrating the battery until i came to the forum. I tend to use the power cord any way, being a programmer continuously running an edit compile and test cycle, my hard drive gets little sleep. Well having never done it i decided i would. Well when it returned istat reported 54 cycles and 93% health (16 month old). I also read the the battery likes to be used. so the the last few nights instead of shutting down at the end of the day, I just close the lid and unplug it, plugging it back in in the morning.

This morning i noticed istat reporting 97% health !

I am not sure what exactly health is , but this routeen defiantly seem to help ;)

Is this a illusion or could this really be true? What exactly is health ?

But, you do get free battery power..they come as 6900 mah batteries, but the first few weeks at least once they've bedded in you get a few extra hundred mah.
