I bought MBP 2012 model end of May. I am a little concerned with the battery life. I think it runs around 5 hours. Is that normal? Also I checked the battery health in istats and Health is 95% and Cycles 11. I read somewhere that the Health should be 100% for new laptops. Do I need to take it to the apple store?

Thanks

It's fine. It all depends on your usage.
Also, don't trust what an application tells you about your battery health. If anything, ~90% means it's excellent.

There are many factors that impact your battery life. See the BATTERY LIFE FROM A CHARGE section of the following link for details, including tips on how to maximize your battery life.

It is perfectly normal if your battery health (maximum capacity) is more or less than 100%, even when brand new, or if it fluctuates up or down over time. For further details, read the CHECKING STATUS AND HEALTH section of the following link.

This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

Even with fluctuations, this is a little low is it not? It is a new 13in mbp just a few weeks old
