iPhone 12 Pro Battery Health

My mother in laws iPhone 12 Pro battery health is at 87%, we got it for her on release day in October of last year. Is this normal?!??if not will Apple replace the battery free of charge since the phone isn’t even a year old?!? Thank you

They won’t replace the battery for free. Normal can be interpreted many ways depending on how it was used and charged. If your battery health was a 79% you might have a case for warranty replacement but not 87%
