I just got my MBP two days ago. I decided to download the "Istat pro" widget. The first day my battery health was 100%, now its 99% already. Does anybody knows what this exactly means and if i could improve the health of my battery?
thanks

Calibrate your battery. Read the Apple article here.
Istat seems to jump around alot in regurad to my battery health. It was 100% when I fist got my MBP, 89% a few days later, then back to 99%. After calibration, its staying at a steady 100% Hope this helps!

the battery health seems to run down when your battery level goes down.. i.e. battery health at 100% charge may be 99%, but battery health at 30% charge may only be 90%... it will go back up once charged again.

normally.... (unless you have access to powerpoints all the time) once your battery goes below about 70% battery health then maybe its time to grab a new battery, although people with a battery health of 30% still use theirs.. just dont get much time
